  • Our Free Space Optical Communications (FSOC) modem supports Internet Protocol (IP) optical links at GigE and 2.5 GigE speeds when coupled with a compatible telescope.

    • Supports terrestrial and space-ground optical links
    • Robust FEC implementation optimized for optical links
    • Optional Fade Tolerant FEC mode (FT-FEC), capable of surviving >70ms fades every 200ms
    • Full Duplex GigE connectivity at >900 Mbps user rate
    • Full duplex 2.5 GigE connectivity at > 2,250 Mbps
    • Link latency: < 2ms; FT-FEC mode < 125ms
    • 1e-12 link BER
    • APD module sensitivity of -34 dBm (prior to FEC)
    • Customizable Tx wavelength via standard SFP+ module
  • qBeam's high resolution, ultra-sensitive, configurable SWIR multi-spectral camera opens up new opportunities in the scientific, medical, security and industrial inspection fields.

    • Simultaneous image capture on three sensors
    • Registered images
    • Field swappable band pass filters
    • Two-position band pass filter on each channel
    • Embedded iCore7 PC
    • Image processing software
    • Three sensor camera with full sensor resolution
    • Configurable channel bands with custom dichroic prism
    • Multiple SWIR lens options including F/1.4
  • The Laser Light Modulator is a device that detects the presence of spectrally very narrow light and imparts a slow amplitude modulation on its intensity. Through the use of polarizers and a birefringent crystal, light with very narrow spectral content is modulated while broader spectral light (including sunlight) is not modulated.

    • Works over a broad spectral band, so no narrow bandpass filter is needed
    • Easily integrates onto commercial visible or SWIR lenses
    • Unlimited Rows Per Section
    • CLM-35C-NIR includes a 700 – 1100 nm modulator with a 35mm F/1.4 lens
    • Indirect or scattered light can be detected
    • Modulation frequency is adjustable from 1 Hz to 30 Hz
    • CLM-35C-SWIR includes a 900 – 1700 nm modulator with a SWIR 35mm F/1.4 lens
    • Narrow spectral light anywhere on the camera image can be detected (individual camera pixels are modulated)
    • Battery operated
    • Automatic wavelength estimation optional
    • Software for automatic detection can be developed
    • Can be incorporated into other viewing aides such as a monocular
  • Embed/Comm is a Windows® program for system level modeling and simulation of end-to-end communication systems at the physical layer. It provides fast and accurate solutions for analog, digital and mixed-mode communication system designs. Embed/Comm includes an extensive library of modulators, FEC blocks, channel models, filters, PLLs, and distortion-true RF blocks. Visualization features include spectrum plots, eye diagrams, phase scatter plots, BER curves, and more...
